Can I negotiate on NDIS rates for Accredited Exercise Physiology?

Enriched Health Care appreciates the difficulty participants have when NDIS plans have been provided with inadequate funding. Enriched Health Care is providing the following transparent information to assist you as a consumer to understand why we do not offer discounted services.

1. NDIS fees are set below Enriched Health Care standard consultation fees.  As at 01.01.19 Enriched Health Care standard fees are $220 per hour. The NDIS fee of $148.69 is $71.31 per hour below our standard rate.
2. NDIS charges Enriched Health Care significant fees to be registered: To participate within NDIS services Enriched Health Care has invested significant amounts of money on policies and procedures required specifically for NDIS work. As of 2019 organisations will also need to meet accreditation requirements which the auditor fee alone is in vicinity of $5,000-$10,000. 
3. Enriched Health Care invests in our clinic: Enriched Health Care has invested over $750,000 into our Port Macquarie Gait and Motion Clinic which provides specialised therapeutic robotics, private consultation rooms and a fully equipped rehabilitation gym.
4. Accredited Exercise Physiology rates as at 01.01.19 are $148.69 this is significantly below the NDIS standard therapy rate of $179.26
5. Enriched Health Care Health Care Professionals are highly experienced and must attended ongoing professional development. Professional Development for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist is in the vicinity of $5000-10,000 per year. Additionally health care professionals are required to pay insurances and registration/accreditation fees.
